Ham Cheese Roll Sandwich – Sweet, Sticky, and Bite-Sized

We made a snack. For after dinner.
Just something cute the kids could grab while studying, running around, or sitting in the living room.

But it disappeared before dinner even started.

A simple bread roll — flattened and layered with mayo, honey, ham, and cheese.
Rolled tight and sliced small. Topped with little picks. That’s it.

It was sweet. A little sticky. And gone in one bite.
We managed to get a photo — just before it disappeared one by one.

📋 Ingredients (Makes 9 rolls)

✅ White sandwich bread – 9 slices (crusts removed)
✅ Sliced ham – 9 slices
✅ Sliced cheddar cheese – 9 slices
✅ Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
✅ Honey – 2 tbsp
✅ Decorative picks – optional but recommended

🧑‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Trim the crusts off the sandwich bread.
2️⃣ Flatten each slice with a round rolling stick or bottle.
3️⃣ Spread a small amount of mayo and honey onto the bread.
4️⃣ Layer 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese.
5️⃣ Roll it up tightly and seal the edge.
6️⃣ Slice each roll into 4 pieces.
7️⃣ Decorate with cute picks, and serve.

🔹 Pressing the bread makes it more chewy and helps it hold shape.
🔹 Don’t overdo the sauce — a little mayo and honey goes a long way.
